Collect product reviews on your shop. It helps both your customers and your shop in search engines.
When you create a product, you naturally want to describe it fairly objectively in your text. It's good solid text that Google also reads.
But if you get your customers to review your product, it gets even better. Firstly, they write a lot of nice text about your product that Google can read. This has a positive impact on your search results. Typically because they write about the product in the plural or use synonyms. Suddenly, your universe of text about the product becomes much larger.
But there's another benefit: If you get your reviews marked with structured data, you can get stars in your search results (also called SERP). This gives you increased visibility in search engines and will in 99% of all cases increase your click through rate - meaning more visitors.
In Shoporama, you can choose to manually send out emails to several customers at a time, asking them to review the products they have purchased. You can also set up Shoporama to automatically send out emails, for example, four weeks after a customer has purchased a product. This is the solution we would recommend in most cases. However, there may be cases where you have seasonal products mixed in with a fixed assortment and are only interested in reviewing your fixed assortment. Here it may be necessary to send out emails manually from time to time.
You can see an example of how product reviews can be implemented here.
Shoporama collects the number of stars from 1-5, a description and the customer's name, which you can display in your online store.
It's free to try out Shoporama and every single feature. This way you can test our features with peace of mind and make sure they do what you need them to do.
