Delivery with DAO
DAO is one of Denmark's most popular freight providers with a nationwide network of parcel shops in grocery stores. With Shoporama's DAO integration, your customers can choose their preferred parcel shop directly at checkout.
Two delivery types
- Parcel shop delivery - the customer chooses their preferred parcel shop. The package is typically delivered the next day and can be picked up at the grocery store
- Home delivery (D2D) - the parcel is delivered directly to the customer's door. Ideal for customers who want maximum convenience
Parcel shop finder in checkout
When the customer selects DAO as the shipping method, a parcel shop finder appears that automatically suggests the nearest parcel shops based on the customer's address. The customer can see addresses and opening hours, so it's easy to choose the most convenient pickup location.
Automatic shipping labels
When the order is ready to ship, you generate a shipping label directly from Shoporama's admin. No need to log in to DAO's system separately - it all happens in one place.
Tracking
The tracking number is automatically registered on the order and can be sent to the customer so they can follow the parcel all the way to the parcel shop or to their door.

Easy setup
You set up the DAO integration under Settings in your admin. Enter your DAO credentials, choose which delivery types you want to offer, and you're ready to send parcels.
