Notes: This service is only for critical situations where your webshop is down or has serious problems. For regular support, please use our normal support channels.

Set up Heysender integration

In February 2024, new requirements came from several email systems. They can be met by setting up Heysender integration

In order to support DMARC etc. in the transactional emails sent from your shop, it is necessary to have emails sent via Heysender.

First, you need to enable it in Shoporama. Then you need to set up a few things in your DNS. Note: Once you have activated it in Shoporama, it cannot be deactivated again. So before you get started, make sure you have access to your DNS.

To enable it in your shop, click on settings (the cog in the top right corner).

Then click on "Heysender" in the menu to the left.

Check the box "Use Heysender".

You will then get a TXT record to create in your DNS. It tells you what the value should be and its name.

Once you've done that, you should add Heysender to your SPF. Here the value is also listed on the page.

Once both are done, you can simply click Save and wait those 30 minutes to 24 hours for your DNS to be updated.

You will then get better delivery of your emails.
