When you need to transfer your shop to your own domain name, there are several options. We'll try to describe them here.
When your demo shop is ready to go live, you need to transfer it to your own domain. There are several ways to do this. We describe them here. If you have any challenges, write to support@shoporama.dk and we'll help you.
If you already own a domain, all you really need to do is change your DNS. Your DNS is what controls which server will display your webshop when someone enters e.g. www. din-nye-webshop.dk in their browser.
To find out who controls your DNS, you can look up your domain here.
Below you can see an example where I look up Faktorfobi.
Type in your domain name and click "Test Now". You should now look under Nameservers. Here you can see that the nameserver for Faktorfobi is ns1.pil.dk - so it's at pil.dk that you need to change your DNS. Usually you have a login there - it can also be Unoeuro or One.com. If you log in to their system, you can often find a menu item called DNS. This is where you correct this.
Once you have access to your DNS, change it so that your domain din-nye-webshop.dk points to the IP address 91.223.235.80.
It typically takes 1-12 hours for such a change to take effect. When it does, the traffic will be sent to Shoporama's server. Now Shoporama's server needs to know which demo store to display on that particular URL. The way to do this is to enter a primary domain in Shoporama. To do this, click on the gear and enter your-new-webshop.dk in primary domain.
Then press "Save" and your shop will be displayed on your domain once the DNS change has taken effect.

If you haven't yet purchased your domain anywhere, we recommend that you buy it from E-studio.dk
You can easily make do with the model called Ebasics. Once you've bought the domain, you simply write to them to point it to Shoporama's server and they'll do the rest.
You can also get your email from E-studio at the same time.
